UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (4/8/24) — Happy Valley United, the NIL collective supporting all 31 teams and over 800 Penn State student-athletes, is hosting the Past & Present Celebration at the Medlar Field before and after the annual Blue-White game. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit NIL for Penn State football student-athletes.
The two-part event starts at 11 AM on April 13th with a celebration of the past, including brunch and live programming presented by State Media. Following the Blue-White game, a celebration of the present kicks off at 5 PM, featuring current Penn State football student-athletes and festival foods. At both events, guests can purchase items and memorabilia for autographs, play games, enjoy music from our live DJ, and interact with our special guests.
“Our Blue-White game events will provide an unrivaled game day experience for every Nittany Lion fan,” said Jen Ferrang, Happy Valley United General Manager for Development and Corporate Partnerships. “From the live panel hosted by State Media to the Kids Zone, DJ and photo opportunities, this is an event unlike any other we’ve hosted. The Past & Present Celebration is a great way for Penn State football fans to support NIL.”
A celebration of the past runs from 11 AM – 1 PM. Happy Valley United is proud to partner with State Media to power a live panel full of Penn State football lettermen. Moderated by former Penn State Quarterback and current Director of State Media, Christian Hackenberg, our lettermen panel will preview the spring game and discuss their expectations for the Nittany Lions as they continue preparations for the 2024 season.
“We’re stoked to support Happy Valley United and NIL for Penn State football at one of the best events of the year,” Hackenberg said. “The lettermen panel will be engaging for fans of all ages. Our guys are pumped to be back in Happy Valley and supporting the program through NIL.”
Guests can interact with our panelists and enjoy the discussion over brunch before heading over to the Blue-White game. Penn State cheerleaders and the Nittany Lion will also be stopping by for a pep rally.
Kicking off at 4 PM and running until 7 PM, the celebration of the present will highlight current Penn State student-athletes and coaches. These select student-athletes and coaches will make
their way over to Medlar Field following post-practice obligations. Guests can interact with the Nittany Lions over festival foods and music.
